Indexer
The indexer is a service that turns raw on-chain activity into a structured stream of note, deposit, and nullifier events.
Privacy
The indexer only ever sees on-chain data: nullifier hashes, commitment hashes, stealth-address points, and the encrypted cEnc/cOut blobs. It never holds a note plaintext — decryption happens client-side with the wallet's ivk/ovk. An indexer can withhold or reorder events (a liveness/censorship concern) but cannot fabricate a note the wallet will accept: the SDK recomputes each commitment and rejects any leaf whose plaintext does not hash to the on-chain cm.
